Wasabi is a Japanese horseradish that is grated into a green powder. It is most popularly used as a condiment for sushi; however, wasabi is also used for many other Japanese dishes.
When mixed with water, wasabi powder thickens into a paste. It has a strong hot flavor which dissipates within a few seconds and leaves no burning aftertaste in one’s mouth.

Ingredients:
mustard powder, horseradish powder, cornstarch, citric acid (preservative), fd & c yellow #5, ascorbic acid (preservative), fd & c blue #1
To Use: Mix one part Wasabi powder with one part water. Mix well using brisk strokes with chopsticks or a fork. Keep covered to better retain heat.
